Passionate about mission growth.
For more than 30 years, I’ve led communications, marketing, fundraising, operations, and governance functions across local and national nonprofits, statewide associations, and mission-driven organizations of every kind.
I’ve been inside the system — responsible for growth, alignment, and results — not just advising from the outside.
And over those decades, I’ve seen the same pattern repeat:
Smart teams. Important missions. Constant activity. But declining engagement, uneven participation, and a widening gap between what the organization offers and how people actually show up.
Most organizations respond the same way — by adding more. More communications. More programs. More campaigns.
It doesn’t fix the problem. Often it just creates more challenges for already constrained resources.
I help organizations unlock growth by serving as the connective tissue between teams. As a growth and marketing strategist, I work with leadership teams to identify roadblocks, map paths to meaningful growth and build the cross-functional systems to advance the organization together. Whether it’s a failure to translate mission into member meaning, a structural problem created by functions working in disconnected silos, a technology or execution gap, or some combination, we work together to find the breaks and build the systems required to close them.
My philosophy is simple:
Belonging drives engagement. Engagement drives growth. And growth propels the mission.
But belonging doesn’t happen by accident. It requires a coherent system — one where the message, the structure, and the tools are all working together to create a clear, compelling path that members can step into and advance.
That’s the work. And it’s built from three decades of seeing exactly where organizations break — and what it actually takes to make them work.
